L.E.K. London Associates’ Trip: Lost In Lisbon

Lisbon. The launching post for the discovery of the new world, home of stunning architectural and culinary delights and, for one weekend only, the destination of choice for the 2017 London L.E.K. associate trip. 42 Associates made the journey across to Lisbon and, although only 40 made it back initially, the trip must go down as a roaring success.

Landing on Friday evening, we ate at a market style food hall, before heading out to some of the many bars in the Bairro Alto. The more enthusiastic of us then headed to a seafront club, where some fell afoul of the credit based drinks system. On Saturday culture came to the fore with the beautiful sights of Belém and the wonderful atmosphere of the Alfama being particular highlights. For the people that managed to avoid the Irish bar and the Six Nations Rugby…

Saturday evening launched with a beautiful Portuguese dinner, more bar hopping and another Lisbon nightclub. By Sunday many were feeling slightly worse for wear, although the hardy managed some final sightseeing before getting the cab to the airport.

All in all it was a great Associate trip and a weekend to remember!
