Application Deadlines FAQ

You have questions about application deadlines and we have answers. As you’ll see, they do vary a bit. There are a number of schools that we’ve built strong relationships with over the years that have established specific application deadlines with us (including some Ivy League schools in the U.S., the London Business School, etc.). Check out the complete list of school-specific application deadlines here.

And it’s important to stress that we actively recruit strong candidates from across the globe. See the submission deadlines by geography for all other applicants:

Thanks for all the insights and tips, they are really helful. Regarding the application process, I am wondering if I can apply to two offices at the same time. I am currently studing in UK for an advanced degree so am applying to your London office, but the opportunity to go back to China is equally appealing. It's going to be a difficult choice if there is a rule.. Thanks for your response!
Hi Zhao -- Yes, you may apply to more than one of our geographies – but we’ve found that our most successful applicants have typically focused their efforts on a single L.E.K. region. Wherever you apply, L.E.K. is able to provide employees with international business experience regardless of their "home" office. We have an extensive mix of international clients, and successful candidates will find themselves working on a variety of cases with a global scope. We also operate a “Swap” program that enables staff to work in an overseas office for up to six months and, in exceptional cases, employees can transfer to overseas offices permanently. Good luck!
Hi A question about which application deadline may apply to me. I have a phd but I have been building a successful business for the past 2 years, over the last 4 years I have founded and raised funding for 2 separate ventures(biotech and the in the tech/IT space). Would this make me an experienced hire or would I apply along with other PhDs who may or may not have post-degree business experience?
Hi Deepak – Great question! I recommend that you apply as an experienced hire (partly based on your background, and because the LSS application deadline was Oct. 13). Good luck!
